A myriad of fresh work & ideas!

Somewhat different than the familiar single night-formula, NIGHT SHIFT offers a platform for upcoming talent during GHENT INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL (-GIF). From the 15th till the 29th of January a diverse range of makers present exploratory work & freshly harvested ideas at various locations throughout the city!

Every last Thursday of the month LARF!’s Knal_Interval provides the stage of De Kazematten for work in progress by young makers. This edition is curated by Night Shift and collects presentations by various artistic organisations in Ghent who work with children and youngsters. Sharing this fragile and experimental work with a broader festival audience and each other aims to generate an atmosphere of accessibility and unexpected encounters.

With Bebe Books, Unpublic Program curated by Emiel Lenaert, Spa For Spirits, Abrikoor, Nachtzwemmen, Mais Quelle Chanson, Atelierwerking Kopergietery, Larf!, Stedelijk Secundair Kunstinstituut, Short Film Program curated by Julie Daem — a production of Gouvernement ‑with support of: Stad Gent, de Vlaamse Overheid — - locations: Kunsthal Gent/Art Cinema Offoff, Vooruit, De Kazematten, Shopping Center Ghent Zuid, Campo, surprise location
